Echo is a location tracker app that allows you to save and share the coordinates of any location using your phone's built-in GPS.
FEATURES
See current location
Echo allows you to see the coordinates of your current location in real-time.
Save locations
You can save the exact coordinates of locations such as
-Famous landmarks
-Parking spots
-Hiking spots
-Meeting points
-Etc.
Open locations
You can view details of locations you have saved or browse around with the built-in map.
Navigate to locations
You can also navigate back to saved locations (e.g. for finding where you parked your car) with a press of a button.
Share location with friends
Lastly, Echo allows you to quickly share your location (using coordinates and a formatted address) from the main screen or when opening a saved location.
QUESTIONS
Will using Echo cause my battery to drain faster?
Even though your phone's GPS can use a lot of power, Echo minimizes this by fetching location only when you are on the main screen. If you close the app or open saved locations, Echo will not utilize your phone's GPS.
Why doesn't my location appear even though I have location turned on?
If you are running Android Oreo or lower, the location could be set to battery saver mode. Go to location settings and switch the mode to either "Device Only" or "High Accuracy". This allows Echo to use your phone's GPS for a more accurate reading.
